Proactive approach
Selling a private company is not simply a financial, legal, and accounting matter, it is a sales and marketing matter. While traditional methods tend to be passive in their approach and rely almost solely on the valuation assigned to a company by an accountant or financial advisor, Xigo and BCMS Corporate are proactive in identifying and contacting the best possible prospective buyers. We know that a company’s clients, future growth potential, reputation, market position and a host of other assets greatly affect what a strategic buyer is willing to pay.

Early in the selling process, our skilled researchers identify an average of, between 150 and 250 prospective buyers for each of the businesses that we take to market. Our Prospect Generation Team then contacts the decision makers at each of these firms to generate interest in your company. After collecting non-disclosure agreements, with great sensitivity to the need for maintaining confidentiality, we meet with each prospective buyer to determine which are most serious about purchasing your company.

Our professional Client Managers act as the linchpin of each project making sure things happen when they are supposed to while liaising between you, our team and each prospective buyer. Our Deal Leaders work alongside each client, managing and supporting you through the all negotiation meetings, and focusing intently on selling the company for the maximum price under the best terms.
